Since its founding in 1882, The Swiss Society of New York, Inc. is dedicated to the cultivation of friendship and understanding between Switzerland and the United States of America.

The Swiss Society of New York, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, keeps the spirit and traditions of Switzerland alive and strives to contribute loyally the very best to our adopted Homeland, the United States of America.

The Swiss Society of New York fulfills its mission by offering various cultural meetings, performances, presentations and lectures in art, music, literature, science and matters of general interest to our Swiss community and its friends. The annual cornerstone event is the Swiss Ball, a gala evening with fine food, good music, and lively dancing. It is recognized nationally and in Switzerland as one of the most important events of our community.
